Greene began his career as a photographer in the US Air Force and then worked as an assistant to Richard Avedon. He took numerous courses at the International Center of Photography in NYC. He's had solo exhibitions at the Becket Arts Center, the Carrie Haddad Gallery in Hudson, NY, and the Kasten Gallery in Great Barrington, MA. He had been represented by the Kasten Gallery where his work was frequently exhibited. He's also had work exhibited at Simon's Rock's Liebowitz and Atrium Galleries, The Norman Rockwell Museum in Lenox, The USS Constitutions Museum in Boston, and The Canyon Ranch Gallery in Lenox through the Ferrin Gallery. Currently, he's represented by Sohn Fine Art Gallery.
