Make, Play, Create! This hands-on, family-friendly event invites all ages to dive into art-making. Experiment with materials and learn creative techniques directly from Sohn Fine Art’s artists, who will be present. Craft with mixed media, pastels and multiple exposure photography and take your masterpiece home!

Hand-Working with Pastel
John Clarke and Cassandra Sohn will be on-site to guide you through exploration of integrating pastel on to printed images. Participants can experiment with blank media at the gallery, bring their own photographic print to draw on, or pre-order an image to be printed by Sohn Fine Art in advance to work on during the event. Multiple Exposure Camera Techniques
Many of Sohn Fine Art’s artists utilize multiple exposure photography in the creation of their artworks. Dan Cullinane will teach you the basics of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) and Multiple Exposure Photography (layered imagery). You will gain practical experience with a camera application (accessible on iOS and Android) and produce images using these creative methods.

Collage Making
Barbara Shulman will lead participants through the joy of creating one-of-a-kind beautiful collages using simple and colorful mixed medias.
